Last Pizza Slice, known simply as LPS, is a Slovenian band. They are scheduled to represent Slovenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with their single "Disko".[1]

Career

The band was formed in December 2018 in the music room of the Grammar School Celje-Center.[2]

2022: Eurovision Song Contest 2022

Slovenia's broadcaster for the Eurovision Song Contest, Radiotelevizija Slovenija, announced on 26 November 2021 that Last Pizza Slice were selected as one of 24 entrants to have a chance to represent Slovenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.[3] The band would win the third duel of the contest, beating out Neli Jerot's song "Magnum opus" to move on to the final round.[2] Last Pizza Slice also won in the final, and as a result, will represent Slovenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.[4]
