Roza Kostandyan (Armenian: Ռոզա Կոստանդյան; born 20 May 2000), known professionally as Rosa Linn (Armenian: Ռոզա Լին), is an Armenian singer, songwriter and record producer. She will represent her country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy with the song "Snap".

Early life

Kostandyan was born and raised in Vanadzor, Armenia. She began playing the piano at the age of six.[1] In 2013, she participated in Armenian national selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Gitem".[2]

Career

2020–present: Beginnings and Eurovision Song Contest

Linn started her professional musical career by collaborating with US-based record label Nvak Collective, founded by Armenian-American singer and songwriter Tamar Kaprelian. In September 2021, Linn released her debut single "King" in collaboration with American singer Kiiara.[3] She made her television debut performance of the song during the morning show on Public Television Company of Armenia (AMPTV) in November 2021.[4]

In February 2022, Linn was rumoured to represent Armenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy.[5][6] On March 11, she was officially announced as the representative of the country by AMPTV.[7] Her Eurovision entry titled "Snap" was released on March 19 along with its music video. The song was written by Linn, Tamar Kaprelian, Larzz Principato, Jeremy Dusoulet, Allie Crystal and Courtney Harrell.[8] Linn will perform "Snap" on May 10 during the first semi-final of the contest.[9]
